Use the custodian that matches the El Dorado County record:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Criminal court files: call El Dorado Superior Court at 530-621-5047 in Placerville or 530-573-3044 in South Lake Tahoe
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the El Dorado County Sheriff Records Unit
- Your own California history: request fingerprint record review from the California Department of Justice
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Dismissal and arrest sealing: file with the Superior Court branch handling the case
